Commissioner Willis was born and raised in Pike County. He married to Gloria V. Willis, and they have three children and three grandchildren.
He is self-employed and has owned Willis Trucking Company since 1996.
He attends Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Molena where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Deacons.
Commissioner Willis took office in 2006. He is a certified commissioner, meaning he has attended training coordinated through the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) in order to become certified. He is now in training to become CCAP (Certified Commissioners Advanced Program) certified as well.
